NBC’s Law Order hosted 2Chainz as a guest on their morning show Special Victims Unit, in an episode that aired on the 8 th of May, 2013. In October 2012, 2 Chainz said he would be re-entering the studio once again, immediately he completes his B.O.A.T.S concert tour. 2Chainz has made various guest appearances on tracks by popular recording artists, such as Kanye West (Mercy) and Nicki Minaj (Beez in the Trap) since the success of his mixtape. after the change in stage identity, 2Chainz released a mixtape called T.R.U.REALigion, this was the first mixtape ever to be released by 2Chainz that entered into the music charts, ranking at number 58 on the US Billboard Top 100 and the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In an interview, he said the name was more appealing and “family friendly”. Finally, in the fall of 2011, Tauheed Epps who was known by the alias “Tity Boi” changed his stage name to “2Chainz”. Throughout Tauheed Epps’s Music career, critics and fans have made allegations against him that his then stage name, ‘Tity Boi’ was insulting to women, but he denied all such accusations.
During that time Ludacris was one of the most successful rappers in all of Southern, United States in record sales. This led to Ludacris requesting the group to be part of his new record label, ‘Disturbing tha Peace’s subsidiary of DefJam recording. Ludacris took an immediate interest in the Duo and started playing their songs in his radio station. In 2002 Tity Boi and Dolla Boi were introduced to Ludacris, a fellow Georgia rapper, following the release of their independent album called, ‘United we stand, United we fall’. He formed the Duo with his high school Buddy, Earl Conyers (Dolla Boy) Tauheed Epps adopted “Tity Boi” as his stage name. The name of the Duo then was Playaz Circle (Playaz is an acronym for “preparing Legal Assets for years from A-Z”). Tauheed Epps formed a hip hop duo in his home town, College Park in 1997. He said, ‘I got into trouble, went somewhere else, and came back, but the bottom line is that I graduated and that’s it”.
He later did a transfer to Virginia State University due to some issues he didn’t want to disclose to the public. 2 Chainz was quizzed one time by Rolling Stone about rumors surrounding his graduation from Alabama State University with a 4.0 G.P.A, which was reported on Wikipedia and many other sources, He replied by saying, ‘don’t believe anything on Wacki-Pedia, there’s a lot of false stuff there about me, to the point that anytime I try to fix one thing, something else comes out”. Later, the rapper got admission to attend the Alabama State University on scholarship, while in the university He played for his school basketball team from 1995 – 1997. 2 Chainz was arrested in high school because he had illegally dealt with marijuana and cocaine he was only 15n year old at the time of his arrest. He later graduated coming second in his class. 2 Chainz attended North Clayton High School He played for the school’s basketball team.
